The XPO Logistics Red Apprenticeships Scheme: your career starts here
We are committed to attracting the best talent to our business – we know our people are our future, whether that be management, graduates or indeed, school leavers. This year we have launched our Apprenticeship programme, which is designed to attract talented individuals into our business who have a desire to succeed within logistics and be part of our exciting future. Our ethos is ‘you grow, we grow’ and this couldn’t be more pertinent in our Apprenticeship programme, designed to attract talented, flexible people into our business.
The initial focus will be on warehousing and traffic office qualification where you will be provided with on the job training, uniform and line management, as well as a qualification (equivalent to 5 GCSEs A-C) at the end of your 12 months.

What is an Apprenticeship?
An Apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to work for a real employer, earn a real salary and gain a real qualification while gaining valuable workplace skills and experience. Anyone living in the UK who is 16 years old and over and not in full time education can apply to become an apprentice. You can find out more about Apprenticeships here, or if you want to submit an application now, click here!
What do I need to become an apprentice at XPO Logistics?
For us it’s all about attitude. Our scheme is aimed at those who have a passion to succeed, to learn and to be the best they can be. We’re looking for people who want a career in logistics and not just a job.
What are the benefits of becoming an apprentice at XPO Logistics?
Our apprentices are our future. You will receive on the job training, a qualification and, more importantly, a future within logistics. Ultimately, you earn while you learn in a real job that offers you a real future in the logistics sector as one of our valued People in Red.
What Apprenticeships do you currently offer, and where?
At the moment we support Apprenticeships in Storage and Warehousing and Traffic Office and Driving. There are also opportunities in support functions, including customer service and business administration. Our schemes are typically 12 months long and have lots to offer, including a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at the end of the programme. We also ensure all our apprentices receive the support and guidance they need to take their career within XPO Logistics to the next level. Our Apprenticeship scheme will cover the majority of England but in particular Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Manchester, East Midlands, Yorkshire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
